So this summer dad and I accomplished one more thing on our bucket list. On our trip to see the boys in Portland, we went to the Redwoods and drove up on scenic 101 along the coast. The trip was 2 wks long and ran across beautiful country. Kevin and family meet us in Klamath, Ca and we spent 3 days in the Redwoods. The trees are breathtaking and we drove thru a tree. We took over 400 pics

and could write 10 pages on things we did, but won't do that. Highlights of course loved the ocean-beach. Kev saw a bear on the side of the road. We went to Mystery of the Trees and rode a tram, and saw Paul Bunyon and the Blue Ox. We really enjoyed the hike up Fern Canyon. Of course we loved the time we spent the family, and getting to know the grandchildren better. Second half of the trip we spent some time with Jared and his clan doing things in Portland. For 3 days we went to a Beach house in Lincoln City. I wish it had been warmer but it was in the in 60's and breezy but the sun blessed us with it's presents. The beach house was alot of fun. Spent most of the time on the beach. Before it you knew it our time was gone and we were on the road home. We stopped in Pendlton, Or and meet up with Mark and his family who live in Washington. We enjoyed our few hrs with them and headed to SLC. We spent a day with Mel's family it was good to see them all. It was good to be home in the sun and heat..... It was a great trip and created great memories. Thanks for everyone who had a part in creating these memories.
