We were able to go to Portland this June to see the boys and their family's. As always had a great time. We got to see some beautiful sites. We got to walk behind a waterfall at Silver Creek Falls, one of my things on my bucket list. The climb out was challenging but always glad we went.

We went to the Portland Zoo. This Zoo you can feel happy for the animals, they are treated well and the largest zoo I have ever been to.

This is a 450 lb Sturgen fish that we saw at the fish hatchery. The damm was very interesting too.

We went to Mt Saint Helens. The view and purple fields were just georgous. We went to the Ape Cave
its the longest lava tube cave in the US. We made it 1 mile, cold and dark.
They say it was named the Ape Cave because Sasquatch aka Big Foot has been seen around there. Now that would be something to see........
Mel and the boys went to see Transformers 3, The girls and I went shopping but didn't see anything to buy. Had fun playing games and of course
walking with the grandchildren to the park
every morning. I even got to turn in cans and plastic to the recycle center with Jared and Jacob. That was a dirty stinky job. We are grateful for the boys and their lovely wife's for putting up with us.
