We had a great Christmas this year. Mel had been off work for abt 2 months due to a ulcer in the left foot. He was very happy to be able to get back to work Christmas week. Bren and her family spent Christmas Eve day with us. It had finally stopped raining and abt 50 degrees so outdoors was the best part of the day. We played games , nice dinner, read from the scriptures and watched the nativity, bren played and we sang carols and of course opening the presents. Christmas Day we were able to Skype with Jared and family, Mom, and talked to Kev who spent his holiday in California. How grateful we are for this time of year that centers around Christ birth. He is the center of our lives and we celebrate year round, his life and resurrection.
