Town Garden spot-

This year the town has decided to have a community garden spot. It's abt a 3 acre parcel and they have broken up 1/2 acre into 10 x 10 spots.

They will provide the water and a older gentlemen has voluntered to teach us how to garden. So Dad and I signed up and are trying to learn all we can. Our peas are up and lettuce, beets, and green beans are small but growing. Some of the things he has taught us is, always soak our seed till just abt to sprout before planting. On tomato plants take the leaves off abt 3 inches up the plant and bury that deep. We'll keep you posted..
